My Story

How I started composing after so many years of not...

For 20 years my elctronic music and recording equipment sat packed away...

In 1995 after graduating college I packed all my electronic music and recording equipment away so I could make space in my apartment to work on a business. After packing all my tech gear away I mostly used my acoustic instruments but never did any recording.

 Fast forward 20 years.....

In 2015 I had a music teacher friend give me a broken Korg synth. While researching on the internet how to fix it I kept stumbling upon all these amazing technologies for composing and recording...it was wonderful. I bought a few tools and started recording music again with the amazing modern tools of today...after 20 years!

So here we are in 2022, in the past couple years I have released nine albums, a couple EP's and a bunch of singles. In December 2019 I had my first music piece performed in concert.  Since Jan 2020, Sonic Scores features my music as a demo for the amazing orchestral scoreing library "Amadeus Symphonic Orchestra".  In June 2020 Acousitca honored me with their "Mixcraft Featured Artist". In Dec 2020, Brian Katona, Emmy Award Winning Composer, wrote me telling me he liked my music! In Jan 2022 I copyrighted my 175th piece of music. In October 2021 I was accepted to The Society of Composers and Lyricists,  I released my 9th album on Nov 14th 2021, and a 10th album is being released April 12th, 2022 in collaboration with composer Julian G. Holland. On Dec 6th Spitfire Audio commented "Amazing!" on Julian's and my  #HansZimmerMonth Score challenge entry on YouTube. Really! We thought that was pretty Amazing ourselves!

As I study my metrics on YouTube, my music is listened to in almost every country on the planet. As of March 25th 2022 my YouTube channel has over 275,000 views and 1656 subscribers. Who could imagine! In Jan 2020 I had just 14 subscribers! The music I've created has made people weep real tears, laugh with joy, stand up and applaud, stomp their feet to the beat and made my 82 year old mother dance. With your support we'll coninue to make great music together!

My first album "Compassion" has a great story too. My dear friend Michele, a yoga instructor, asked if I could play some of my music for her Winter Solstice Yoga night in 2018, I said sure! It was only a few days before Christmas too. I picked out some of my music and the night before I wrote three more pieces. I used the names of books she has written as inspiration, it worked. After the Yoga session some asked about buying my album, I said I didn't have one yet, so, I started putting the album together. I geared it towards meditation and relaxation, then Michele suggested we craft it so it could be used for a whole 75 minute yoga class as well. Her reasoning was it could really help instructors with a ready made flowing body of music that worked through the phases of a 75 minute session. She helped me rearrange the order of the songs so they made a really nice flow, the result was "Compassion: Music for Meditation" my first album.
